Matthew F. Amati

Where Things Matt Writes Are

Seven publications in online markets this year so far

The Cratch, Thy Keeper (Flash Fiction Online, March

Face Time (FFO, April)

Exam Questions for the Story That Kills Its Readers (Schlock Magazine, May)

A Well-Run Kingdom / The Upgrade (50-Word Stories)

The Rude Mechanicals (Space Squid, June)

The Persistence of Tim (Sci Phi Journal, accepted, forthcoming)

Also completed the novel LOOMPALAND. Not sure what to do with it at this point, so it’s sitting on my desk. Find an agent? Yeesh, what a process. (Best thing to do would be to throw it away, and save trouble/disappointment)

    Correction made!
I should explain: we have had “slug”-related banter going around at work all day. and it must have unconsciously slipped in. I am nearing the end of a 10-hour spreadsheet-filling out marathon, and I must be mentally unfit to blog at the moment!
